Review: Thanks Nuffnang for giving me this tickets. actually i would like to win Wreak-it-Ralph. but then, i really happy that i won this movie, this movie is incredible. this is movie is very lengthy, more than 2 hours.

Story: Pi Patel, a son of a zoo keeper and practicing 3 religion in the same time. soon his father decided to sell his zoo and animal and move to Canada with a cargo ship. soon the ship wreaked and Pi found himself on a lifeboat with a zebra, orangutan, hyena and tiger. together fighting for survival.

this movie is base on a novel written by Yann Martel, soon i will buy his book, hahaha. this story give me a weird feeling on this, see how you look at it, it can be a meaningful story or pointless movie. because by watching the movie it self, you cannot really understand what movie is try to tell. you need to get other information via novel or discussion.

Graphic: this is the most incredible 3D i ever seen, it look really damn real, it was like looking real life thing through a box. most magnificent 3D in 2012. all the effect is great, the scene is nice, the animals are damn real.

Audio: the music is nice, the sound effect is great. stunning.

Conclusion: totally recommended to all people, but young kid might not able to get what the meaning of this story.

Movie Review - Paranormal Activities 4 (2012)

Review: Thanks to Nuffnang, this is actually an first anniversary of my previous PA3. lol, after 1 year, Munwai and Tony cannot join, sad sad. after watch PA3 i actually watch PA1. but not yet watch PA2 duh...
i confess, i just watch 30 minute ++ of this movie...

Story: this is happening 5 years after PA1 and PA2. a happy family, Alex, Wyatt Alex's boyfriend Ben and her parents. a new neighbor move in, one fine day, Robbie kids from the neighbor stay on Alex's house since Robbie mom when to hospital. after the kid move in. Alex experience weird stuffs and ask Ben to record all the video through the laptop and iphone, and they stun after they saw...

the movie is not bad, only the last part is the best, lol. some part is super creepy. the Kinect part is pretty cool~~ quite pity to this family where everything is so peaceful and just because a strange kid stay at their house, or i can say the adopt the wrong kid..... hope to see PA5 next year. tired with non stop horror movie.

Graphic: much more clearer, since they are using Iphones and MacBooks. bravo
Audio: same like previous movie, no music at all. only creepy sound.

Conclusion: this is a Sequel movie. after catching PA1,2,3 can u miss this 1?

Movie Review - House at the End of the Street (2012)

Review: Thanks Churp churp give me this tickets, watch this movie last last week, and i somehow forgot to review it ;p let start!

Story: Sarah a new divorce and her daughter Elissa move to a new place to stay. mix around with neighborhood, but only 1 neighbor which just live next door, which not many family contact with them. one fine day, Elissa make the first contact with them.

ermmm, not a very horror movie, is more like a phyco movie. the story is quite unpredictable. the story is a quite a slow pace movie and every info is pop out at the last part. for the horror part, most is it is jumping around. not that tense.

Graphic: nothing complicated or special
Audio: nothing impressive, some how Elissa singing is good.

Conclusion: nothing much for this movie, worth a dime. any couple is welcome to watch this movie.

Movie Review - The Possession (2012)

Review: argh.... Thanks Nuffnang, can't believe i won it.... watch with Kimiko, Addelyne and Jacky. since i finish the most horrible game. i think that i might able to finish off this movie. but it turn out that i am wrong..

not again.....

Story: a girl brought a mysterious box from a garage sales, somehow she found a way to open the box. many strange things happen after that and the girl become very violence. her dad found out that she have been possesses, and contact a sifu to help him. but.......

the story is actually dull... like others exorcism movie... first found something, then possessed, then people die, then call ghostbusters. but ler... for the scariness, i totally give up... i hide behind my bag when i know something is happening XD it could be scary as my friend also hide herself up :)

Graphic: the makeup artist do the good job, same to the special effect team. bravo!!

Audio: freak me up most of the time, good job

this part look really cool

Conclusion: for Horror fans, i believe you will watch it anyway...

Movie Review - Total Recall (2012)

Review: almost miss this good movie, lucky Addelyne invite me to watch when deliver her chocolate to her (brought from Langkawi last few weeks).

Story: Douglas a factory workers, dream about being a spy and decided to visit Rekall Inc. found out that he is a international spy, somethings goes wrong and run away. now he is alone without knowing who he is, need to find back his identity. in the mean while......

i dunno i have seen 1990 total recall or not, purely this movie, the concept is great! the story setting, background, technology is awesome. some of the part of the story moving too fast, some dragging too slow. both of the girls are sexy too~~

Graphic: quite impressive, especially the colony town, combination of Bangkok and Hongkong.

Audio: time when must quite, it will quite. Time when action began, it will roar!

Conclusion: quite an impressive movie, easy to understand also, recommended to everyone especially sci-fi geeks.

Game Review - Dead Space 2

Review: after some struggling... as u know, i scare monster and ghost... especially zombie that can run! i actually not yet play Dead Space 1, since the game is hard to buy now. lucky that CaveBen got 1 but he haven finish the game for 1 years. so i just start this game without knowing anything from Dead Space 1.

Gameplay: Isaac Clarke the engineer from sequel, wakeup from a coma, found out that the space station known as Titan got a massive alien zombie break out. Isaac, now hunt by the government, unitologist and his own hallucination. fighting his way to stop the Marker.

this game can be rated the most horror game i ever played... the environment is disgusting, the zombie is ugly and disgusting, the ugly and disgusting match perfectly good in here. because i play with X360, so the aiming is abit off and barely survive in casual mode (most easy mode), i might try the 2nd round, but not now, currently play Dead Space 1 XD, basically every is quite straight forward... kill anything that move and solve the puzzle which is quite simple for me...

A/V: too Real, too Scary.. another thing good here is there is no HUD display, every info u need is on the suit and weapon.

Conclusion: if u seek for survival horror game, this is it.

Story: The Expendables is back! Barney is contact by Church to retrieve some data. but one of him crew killed by an evil organization. The Expendables regroup, recharge, and reload. their mission is to Search, Find and Kill...

Simply classic movie, not those boring concept movie, show off CGI movie, this is it! METAL! MUSCLES! GUNS! JOKES! ermm yes, JOKES! and GUNS! and more BIG GUNS! this type of movie probably will look lame for newer generations, but, Classic is still awesome. Stop talking, more Action.

Graphic: not much CGI... i believe... so everything is quite real.... i believe...
Audio: ermmm... nothing special... more bang bang bang and jokes.

Review: after working, long time never watching movie. last movie is Avenger, but that movie is over reviewed, so i skip it. so this is the the Movie Review after i got a job. hope to start my movie review journey back on track again. i will also start design papercraft, for Paper Toy Adventure, if he accept my design, i will start to share my design from this blog too :D. OK, thanks Addelyne, Kimiko and Jordan, watching this movie together. one of my friend, Pixy, recommend me to watch this movie. yea, it is a good movie for me.

that 1 look like Jupiter

Story: the story setting timeline is my 100th birthday! yea. a team of explorer, discover a clue where are human from leading them to outer galaxy. a company Weyland, sponsor them and gather all professional and scientist going to search for their creator(Engineer). finally they reach the planet, and discover a structure, and what they found inside the structure is big step history of human mankind.

the story not bad. a mix of ancient alien, religion and sci-fi. i dun think the concept is easy to understand. but if u fans of Alien & Predator, it will be much more easier to understand.

1 Trillion Dollar Spaceship

Graphic: not bad, Director claim that most of the things is not CGI. the screen is clear and smooth.
Audio: nothing to complain, the ending song is very sentimental.

look familiar, what izzit?

Conclusion: Sci-fi, Alien, Predator fans, you cannot miss this movie, this movie is for you.

Review: thanks for Kimiko invite to watch this movie. Since it is somehow related to Transformers, so i dun have high expectation on this movie. perhaps will be very good GCI and bad story, and i was wrong!

Alien WarShip

Story: one fine day, the US navy with international navy fleet are on a Navy war exercise. when they receive emergency call, Navy admiral send 3 destroyer to the selected location. what they found are a fleet of alien warship, the alien setting up force field, separate the whole world with them . Without the help of Main Fleet and lost communication. what can 3 destroyer do with fleet of Aliens Warship?

the story is good, many unsuspected scene, for me, not easy to guess the next story. which is very good! all the casting is also good.

Ermmmm, order sir?

Graphic: the CGI is perfect
Audio: the audio is good, with the background music and explosion.

Battleship Board Game

Conclusion: everything is good in this movie. worth to watch, totally recommended to everyone.

Movie Review - Wrath of the Titans (2012)

Review: sadly no free ticket, watching with college friends, after the first movie, i did't aspect too much.. lucky i did't aspect too much hahaha.

Expedition to find legendary weapon

Story: after Perseus defeat the Kraken, he live as a fisherman with his son. Zeus, Ares and Poseidon, going to underworld visit Hades, try to help rebuilt the Tartarus, jail of Cronos. after Ares and Hades betrayed Zeus and Poseidon for Cronos. one of the Chimera invade Perseus village. after kill of the Chimera, Perseus decided to visit his father,  but Poseidon able to escape but near death, before Poseidon die, he told Perseus everything and ask him to find his son Agenor. Perseus new journey start here.....

overall not that bad. but the story not really good, actually a very short story but dragging very long. and the main Character not very Hero.... abit like underdog... too many underdog movie lately... very sainz.

God of War, Ares

Audio: audio should be very good this 1, but the cinema forgot to open the bass... i think so... dun have the 'effect'. if the bass is on, it will be great.

Graphic: this graphic is nice, those creature, giant, weapon effect.

Zeus and Hades

Conclusion: if the story write nice abit, it will be a very good movie. recommended to Greek mythology fans.

Cronos
